How to Apply for Updated Accommodations

Students need to keep their accommodations active each semester by renewing them.   You can renew them as soon as you register for classes or at any point in the semester, but if you renew after the start of the semester, the accommodations only become active at that point and can take time to implement.  If you are requesting updated accommodations (wanting to add additional accommodations):

  1. Log into myRichland Links to an external site.
  2. Hover over My Student Info
  3. Select Accommodations
  4. Select the correct Term
  5. Click Go to online Accommodation Application
  6. Answer the questions as prompted
  7. Select UPDATED ACCOMMODATIONS
  8. Complete the application, adding the additional information relative to your new request
  9. Submit the application
  10. Submit any new or updated documentation to the Academic Success Center

An email will go to you and your instructors at that moment with your previous accommodations.  You will need to meet with the Accommodations Specialist to determine eligibility for the requested additional accommodations.
