Course Analytics

New course analytics provide information about how students are using the course and course content, as well as a way to global way to see how students are doing in the course (page views, participation, submissions, on-time/late/missing submissions, and current grade).

How do I access New Analytics

To access new analytics, go to the course home page and click on the "New Analytics" button on the right side of the screen.

What are some of the different Course Analytics features?

1. Send a message to students based on specific course criteria Links to an external site.. For example, students who scored in a specific grade range (< 70%), or are missing work or have late work. 
2. Send a message to students based on specific course participation criteria Links to an external site.. For example, students who viewed or didn't view specific course content. Or, students who participated or didn't participate on specific assignments. 
3. View analytics for an individual student Links to an external site.. For example, a summary of page views and participation per week.
