Richland Faculty PD Session - Regular & Substantive Interaction (RSI)

In this interactive session, Dr. Laurie Hughes and a panel of Richland online instructors lead a discussion on Regular & Substantive Interaction, which is a federal requirement that instructors of online courses must regularly interact with their students in meaningful, instructional ways. The panel provides information on RSI, responds to questions and shares ways they are meeting the federal RSI requirements in their online courses.

The Teaching & Learning Center has also provided a separate Canvas course on "Instructor Presence and RSI" in which all Richland online instructors have been enrolled. If you teach hybrid courses or if you are otherwise interested in being added to that course, please reach out to TLC staff.
