Canvas Learning Management System

Canvas is the learning management system (LMS) used at Richland for Online and Hybrid courses, as well as many traditional face-to-face courses. The username and password for Canvas is the same used to log into the myRichland Portal and Zimbra Links to an external site.. In Canvas, students can:

• view their course syllabus
• view assignment directions
• check grades
• turn in assignments
• interact with their instructor and other students

In addition, Canvas is designed to support student-centered learning and allows students to form their own study groups, create collaboration spaces, and even build their own ePortfolios.
