Richland's Academic Remote Desktop Service provides students with access to a various software programs used by college courses. If you need to access the latest version of Microsoft Office, or a specific program required for your class, you're in the right place.

How do I connect from a Windows PC?

  1. Open the Remote Desktop Connection
  2. If the General, Display, etc. tabs are not visible, click on the Show Options button
  3. In the Computer field, enter rds.richland.edu
  4. In the User name field, enter your Richland NetID username (prefixed with RCC\)

  1. Click Connect
  2. When prompted, enter your Richland password.
  3. Agree to any warning boxes that may appear.
