Richland E-mail On Your Web-Enabled Phone

Richland student e-mail (Zimbra) is different from Canvas e-mail, and will be the place Financial Aid, Scholarships, and other important Richland Student Services contact you.

Directions for adding your Richland student e-mail to your cell phone (Android, Blackberry, & iOS)
- Whenever it refers to your E-mail Address, you should use your NetID@richland.edu (for example, zastrocher@richland.edu or jdjones@richland.edu).
- Whenever it refers to your Username or Account Name, you should use your NetID without the @richland.edu (for example, zastrocher or jdjones).
- The incoming server (POP3) and outgoing server (SMTP) are both zimbra.richland.edu.
- Outgoing e-mail (SMTP) will require authentication and secure connections (SSL, accept all certificates). The login information is the same as your user information. Use your NetID (without the @richland.edu). THe SMTP Port should be Port 465.
- Incoming POP3 connections require secure connections (SSL, accept all certificates) on Port 995.
